We encourage you to use these resources to educate yourself and become an advocate for equal rights, equal access and better treatment for individuals with disabilities in your community and beyond.
Be sure to connect with the interest groups, do your homework, stay up to date on the legislative matters, and TAKE ACTION. Call, email, write and meet with your legislators and government officials. They do listen to what you say and there’s power in numbers.
The Institute for Disability Awareness is an advocate, too and we are here to help. Watch your email and our social media for updates on issues important to the disability community.
